Lightspeed Communications & Electrical – OneDrive Cloud Storage SolutionChris Rinaldi
As part of a larger project for Lightspeed Communications & Electrical, Torque IT migrated the file storage system to OneDrive which provided users with remote access and secure off-site backups.
- Ensure all files are correctly formatted and ready for transfer
- Migrate existing files to OneDrive cloud storage
- Set up OneDrive with file synchronisation for each user
- Set up off-site access to files for each user
- Support users in learning how to make use of OneDrive
Torque IT facilitated the migration of Lightspeed Communications & Electrical’s on-site file system to an off-site file system with OneDrive using their existing Office 365 subscription.
As part of the migration Torque IT first checked all files were correctly format and would be transferrable to OneDrive without any issues.
Lightspeed Communications & Electrical are now able to seamlessly access their files in the office and remotely as required with off-site backups for redundancy.
The implementation of OneDrive as part of Lightspeed Communications & Electrical’s computer systems helps it their efforts to become less reliant on high maintenance physical server hardware.
Torque IT set up each user with access to their OneDrive storage and provided each user with the necessary training required to use the system effectively.
The project was completed in a timely manner while giving all the necessary attention to detail. Torque IT looks forward to a continued relationship with Lightspeed Communications & Electrical.
“We were impressed by the level of service provided by Torque IT as part of this project. We were confident in a positive outcome and we were not disappointed, especially with the level of user support provided.”
