ART ON THE MOVE – Office Relocation & System UpgradesChris Rinaldi
In early 2018, ART ON THE MOVE approached Torque IT to facilitate the move of computer systems from one office location to another, and to assess their technology systems against their growing requirements.
- Move and install technology systems to new office location
- Maintain file access throughout office relocation
- Review technology systems against growing requirements
- Implement more suitable crossplatform file storage system
- Facilitate transition to new internet service provider
Torque IT facilitated the move from one office location to another, within a short time frame.
ART ON THE MOVE’s previous email and internet provider was not providing a reliable or user-friendly experience, with systems at times being inaccessible.
Torque IT facilitated the transition to a new internet service provider on NBN and the migration of email to Microsoft’s Office 365 platforms, including the installation of Office 2016 software on PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones.
Torque IT was able to provide ART ON THE MOVE with access to their files throughout the office relocation with cloud-based solutions and provide a thorough but timely turnaround for the move.
ART ON THE MOVE’s email systems have been upgraded to provide exceptional reliability and availability. Their IT systems were up and running from the moment their staff stepped into their new office.
Torque IT handled obstacles to completing the project by planning effective contingencies should hiccups arise throughout the project and were able to exceed expectations completing the project in less than 3 weeks.
The project has enabled Torque IT to further streamline the process for client relocations. The result has been an overall positive outcome for both Torque IT and ART ON THE MOVE and has established a lasting relationship between both organisations.
“We were impressed, not only with the way Torque IT accomplished our office move, but also how they used the move to review and improve our infrastructure. They also demystified the technical issues we were facing in a way that was accessible, inclusive and respectful of the organisation’s needs.”
